Welcome to the summer reading portal for Dulaney High School’s English Department!

Summer reading is one way to help students develop their literacy skills, broaden their interests, and expand their perspectives on our ever-changing world.

During the summer, all students are expected to choose and read books that interest and challenge them. Students and parents should access the appropriate grade-level tabs for assignments and due dates for the upcoming school-year. Note: You must be logged into a BCPS account to view/download assignment details.

Our English teachers have chosen fiction, non-fiction, and poetry collections that consider a diversity of ethnicities and cultures, social topics, classic and contemporary time periods, and genres.

It is our hope that students continue to cultivate a love of learning and literacy through this initiative.
